I think AG's computers have old software on them, so it takes them a long time to remove items from their website, or take about the New! listing next to items that are no longer new. [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]confused.gif[/img]

If that thing about the old software is true, then I'm annoyed even more. It's not like they can't AFFORD it...for goodness sake they are a HUGE company and they do huge gross sales numbers every year
Personally, I think they do it to get you on there and then to get something else. I think the code works this way too. It is my personal theory that most of their sales are under $30, so they figure if they give a code at the $30 mark that people will add an inexpensive item to their order (likely one that doesn't sell well because the shipping is as much as the item) and their actual margin is higher on the items that you do buy...corporate American annoys me sometimes...

I remember reading that someone on this board had heard that about the old software. I think it's odd, AG definitely makes enough money per year to at least update their software!

Plus, they still haven't updated their site to include the new Short Story collections, even though they're available at Barnes and Noble in the US already, so I have no way of reading the new Kit stories!!! [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] They were supposed to be out NINE DAYS AGO!!! Gosh.
